Join us to dream big for a proposal for a new community space on York Central

A workshop exploring ideas around how, as a community, we might use a communal facility/space on York Central. We’ll hear from friends of YoCo who have been invited to present case studies of community projects in their towns/cities, and discuss and workshop ideas for what we might like to see happen in ours. 

YoCo have identified an existing building that we would like to create a proposal to York Central Partnership to use as meanwhile space, and we would love you to have a part in shaping what happens there.

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s how important it is to have resilient and close knit communities that can pull each other up when times are hard. We hope that YoCo can become a place that intergrates with and serves existing communities as well as new people and hopefully lots of wildlife too!
