SESSION 1
YoCo Labs is the ideas, research and experimental wing of YoCo. We’ll be working openly and collaboratively to identify the big questions and challenges. We plan to explore creative and innovative approaches that will help shape the YoCo neighbourhood but with the ambition to also influence the wider York Central development and the future of York.
In doing so we will connect up to other people in York and worldwide with shared interests, we’ll come together to share films and books that shift or expand our perspectives and we will be in constant dialogue with the work of YoCo Projects and YoCo Studios.
In these two linked agenda setting workshops we will start to set the agenda for YoCo Labs, working out our first activities and enabling all interested to take a lead on issues that are close to their hearts. We’ll use a mixture of quick fire conversations, deep listening, quieter reflection and jam boarding to structure the discussions.
